The goal of the 2nd ISMAR Doctoral Consortium (DC) is to create an opportunity for PhD students to present their research, discuss their current progresses and future plans, and receive constructive criticism and guidances regarding their current work, future work, and career perspectives. This year DC received 13 submissions from 8 countries all over the world. A total of seven (7) doctoral students have been selected to the DC this year. Their research projects cover wide ranges of important areas such as tracking, interaction, and information representation in Augmented Reality. The DC program is scheduled for all day presentation on Tuesday 1st October 2013. All ISMAR 2013 attendees are most welcome to attend, participate, and discuss with the DC students as well as foster the future event of the DC. The poster version of the DC papers will also be shown during the poster session.
