Individual contribution and performance assessment is a standard practice conducted in organizations to measure the value addition by various contributors. Accurate measurement of individual contributions based on pre-defined objectives, roles and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is a challenging task. In this paper, we propose a contribution and performance assessment framework (called as Samiksha) in the context of Software Maintenance. The focus of the study presented in this paper is Software Maintenance Activities (such as bug fixing and feature enhancement) performed by bug reporters, bug triagers, bug fixers, software developers, quality assurance and project managers facilitated by an Issue Tracking System.
