Statistics of 3D Dynamically Rebuilt Trees near the Uncrossible Wall
Sergei Konstantinovich Nechaev · Europhysics Letters (EPL) · 1989
The partition function of the three-dimensional (3D) dynamically rebuilt trees (folds) topologically isomorphic to the unentangled ring chain in the lattice of obstacles near the uncrossible wall is calculated exactly. It is shown that the interaction of the folds with the wall is described by the term exp [- const N 1/4 ] and is of such strength due to the absence of fixed conformational barriers between different fold conformations.
