Stability analysis of constant linear systems by Lyapunov's second method
Stephanie J. Barnett, Colin Storey · Electronics Letters · 1966
The stability of ẋ = Ax can be determined by solving the matrix equation A'B + BA = — C, which represents ½n(n + 1) linear eiquations for the ½n(n + 1) elements of the symmetric n × n matrix B. It is shown that the number of equations to be solved can be reduced by n.
