Using Finite-state Automata for Text Lexicons Building

Abstract Using finite state automata for text lexicon building is a suitable tool in case of real time creating of these lexicons. This contribution presents a method in which such a lexicon is created. In this method the final lexicon is created by sequential adding of new identifying words to the automaton. After each added word is the resulted automaton is minimised. As a formal base of this method the results of the finite state automata theory were used.
