Partition methods for read-only-memory sequential machines

B.V. Howard · Electronics Letters · 1972

Partition methods have been developed in recent years as an aid to the state-assignment problem in synchronous sequential machines. Knowledge of the machine structure revealed by partitioning is shown to alllow considerable simplification when read-only memories are employed in such machines.
