On Interpolating Polynomials of Minimal Degree

Given an incidence matrix E, the general problem of interpolating data on E is investigated. The objective of determining the polynomials of minimal degree satisfying the data is solved by considering linear combinations of solutions to interpolation problems which include the above data and which are classically known. Remarks are made on the question of uniqueness.
