Developing a PC-Controlled Digitizing Program

Abstract The digitizing tablet offers PC users the ability to input data from a strip chart or from printed graphs directly into disk files. To connect the digitizing tablet to the computer and to interpret correctly the stream of numbers output from the tablet, a driver program must be designed and implemented. This paper discusses digitizers for PCs and the design of driver programs for different applications.
