Radiation monitor with adjustable alarm

This device was designed to operate in treatment areas of a large radiotherapy centre. In the event of a mechanical or electrical failure an alarm is given if the radiation beam of the unit remains on after the entrance door to the treatment unit has been opened. The device is mains- or battery-operated and can be detached from the interlock system to be usable as a self-contained radiation monitor.
