On the coded complex field network coding scheme for multiuser cooperative communications with regenerative relays

Complex field network coding (CFNC) scheme offers a promising scheme to enable multiuser cooperative communication. In this paper, an error control coding is utilized in the CFNC scheme for multiuser cooperative communications with regenerative relays. At both the regenerative relays and the destination, an iterative multiuser decoder is designed to enable iteration between the MAP-based detection of the multiuser signals and the soft-decision decoding of the error control coding scheme. Analysis and simulation results show that, the coded CFNC scheme is able to significantly improve the reliability of the multiuser message delivery in adverse cooperative communication environment.
