The Monte-Carlo simulation of random stacking faults in close-packed structures

A new approach to the random stacking faults concentration estimation in close-packed structures (the multilayer as well) is presented. It is based on the Monte-Carlo computer simulation of stacking faults arrangement in the crystal being given by an appropriate h-k sequence.
