Progress in Bantu lexical reconstruction

The cumulative count of Proto-Bantu lexical reconstructions stands at 10.000. This figure is inflated for several reasons, one of them being the lack of insight into semantic change. The present paper reports on the search for plausible links between apparently unrelated lexical reconstructions.
