Wolfe programming aptitude test (school edition)
Jack M. Wolfe · 1971
A unique feature of this test is that it consists of only three problems. The second problem, moreover, depends on the first and the third problem depends on the two earlier ones. Each of the problems is more intricate than the preceding one. Although one hour of working time has proved adequate for about half the number of students who have taken the test, a minimum scheduling of one and a half hours is recommended. This is suitable for about 95% of the persons likely to be tested. A two-hour limit is preferable because it will permit the slow, careful worker who likes to check his work as he goes along to proceed at his own normal pace. Even additional time may be allowed if it is feasible to do so in one sitting.
