Harmonic oscillator with periodic nonzero mass

Luc T. Wille, J. Vennik · Journal of Physics A Mathematical and General · 1985

The authors present two cases of a quantum harmonic oscillator with a time-dependent nonzero mass. These are considered to be more realistic than the previously studied variable masses. In particular, periodic solutions for the kinetic and potential energies are investigated by means of stability charts. The general periodic mass is discussed briefly.
