Neuro-fuzzy risk calculation model for physiological processes

In this paper a neuro-fuzzy risk calculation model based on the authors' former validated hierarchical multilevel risk calculation model will be introduced. In the basic fuzzy model a fuzzy logic controller was replaced with a neural network subsystem. In this way the membership function later will be tuned depending on the patients' characteristics. The two models were tested using several typical groups of the patients to validate the novel neuro-fuzzy model.
