Single-domain, lithographically-defined nanomagnets can form circuits in a quantum-dot-cellular-automata-like architecture scheme (MQCA). Lines, gates, and inverters have been experimentally realized, and operate at room temperature. It is estimated that if 1010magnets switch 108times/s, the magnets would dissipate ~0.1 W.
