Solving sorting and related problems by quadratic perceptrons

A quadratic perceptron has a polynomial of order 2 as its discriminant function. The Letter shows that it can be used to solve sorting, MIN, MAX (i.e. winner-take-all), and non-binary majority problems all in constant time.
