Conditional detection of fluctuations in the light form an atom in a high Q-cavity

Analytical expressions for the conditional intensity and quadrature fluctuations of the light from an atom in a high-Q cavity are derived. Fluctuations of both the squeezed and unsqueezed quadratures are shown to be nonclassical.
