A NOTE ON THE FIELD RECEPTION OF TIME SIGNALS
A. R. Robbins · Empire Survey Review · 1957
It is suggested that a chronometer, rated at say 59/60 of mean time in order to receive continuous (mean time second) time signals by the aural extinction method, can be used perfectly satisfactorily to operate the chronograph. The importance of the accuracy of the determination of chronometer error on G.S.T. is then discussed.
