The Many Forms of Revolution

While we speak of the revolution in the mathe matics curriculum, it is evident from the de scriptions presented by Professor Nichols that this revolution is not the work of a single general, nor even of a clique of the highly placed. From all quarters of the academic community, forces both great and small are assaulting the traditional barricades that have blocked off access to real mathematical under standing.
