Graphic display of three-dimensional surfaces user's manual

Battelle Pacific Northwest Labs., Richland, Wash. (USA), D Friedrichs, USDOE · 1972

This document describes a program written to output threedimensional surfaces onto a cathode ray tube (CRT) display.Through the use of orthogonal transformations surfaces can be rotated to provide more complete visualization of the physical characteristics of data being analyzed. The form of the data to be displayed may be a matrix of values representing a surface or a series of lines representing the edges of a three-dimensional object.Minor additions to the program allow displays of surfaces described by a mathematical function.
