Abstract A new in‐cell capable touchscreen controller and display driver IC with an integrated multi‐threaded CPU is presented. The architectural advantages and their respective performance enhancements are described. For the touchscreen controller a 10 to 15dB improvement in SNR was measured while advanced graphical feedback was demonstrated with very low lag on the integrated display driver.
