Stability of electroacoustic transducers using piezoelectric foil

The stability of transducers using PVDF foil depends on a great number of parameters. Some of them are given by the foil properties but greater effects may arise from unsuitable mechanical design. Treatment with heat may also alter the parameters. The sensitivity of the transducer may change with temperature but with a suitable design the frequency response may remain constant.
