Improvement of integrated services on CDMA wirelessLANsusing the handshake-ALOHA protocol
Shiyu Jiang · Electronics Letters · 1996
The author proposes a frame-based, Handshake-Aloha protocol suitable for CDMA wireless LANs. Performance evaluation using a continuous-time Markov chain and Poisson error models shows that both the data and voice throughput are significantly improved, compared to the pure Aloha protocol.
