Effet syllabique et structure de la syllabe dans l'identification des mots

Jean‐Pierre Rossi · L’Année psychologique · 1978

Summary Using the Reicher paradigm and the analysis of latencies for naming four letter words, we have studied the influence of number of syllables (1 and 2 syllables) and orthographic structure (CVVC and CVCV) in word identification. We find no syllabic effect, but the words which are identified better give rise to the greatest naming latencies.
