Development of Behavior Blocking System

The basic concepts of behavior blocking technology, its distinction from standard antivirus methods and intrusion detection systems are considered. The proposed model of the behavior blocking system (BBS) is described. To execute this particular model a standard version for Windows protection is extended to a discretion control model with an isolated access. Based upon the above model and by adding higher-level models a special-purpose system is being designed, which is capable to turn the various types of well-known and hitherto unknown harmful applications, of blocking their effects and destroying them.
