Evaluation of Various Analysis-Synthesis Speech Systems

During the Stockholm Speech Communication Seminar, the performance of several vocoders and speech-synthesizer systems was demonstrated on an equal-speech-input basis. More-recent evaluations of a part of this material by means of consonant articulation and subjective quality tests are reviewed.
