A Table of the interest intensity function for interest intervals of 0.01% from 0% to 7%
Carl-Otto Segerdahl · Scandinavian Actuarial Journal · 1949
On several occasions it is necessary for an actuary to treat problems involving interest functions. Thus, given a yearly rate of interest i, he must often know the corresponding intensity of interest defined by the relation δ = elog (1 + i). The calculation of δ can, of course, be made each time from the ordinary series expansion, but it is often convenient to have a table at hand.
