As regular readers of this column will know, the author has long had a concern — captured in his first book, published two years ago — that global law enforcement agencies were not moving fast enough to prepare for and respond to the type of sophisticated cybercriminals likely to be on us. The clock has continued to tick and it may be that we are about to enter the dark night of opportunity for cybercriminals.
