Continuous Dependence and Spatial Decay Results in the Theory of Linear Maxwell Fluids

In this paper we consider the linear theory of Maxwell fluids. We obtain continuous dependence results with respect to the initial time in the forward in time problem and with respect to the relaxation parameter in the backward in time problem. In the last section we study the spatial decay of the solutions for harmonic vibrations.
