Intelligent time synchronization in sensor network

Much time critical applications require a real-time clock with an accuracy of microseconds. In a centralized system it is easy to implement the requirements, but in a distributed system, this is more difficult as there is no global system tick. Synchronizing the local clocks of all nodes with a sufficient accuracy can solve these problems. This paper compares recent clock synchronization protocols on the sensor network and gets some conclusions. (4 pages)
