Convolutional codes over rings for CPFSK signalling

New trellis codes are constructed that are based on rate 1/2 Q-ary convolutional codes over a ring of integers and CPFSK signals. The distance properties for two types of trellis code that contain convolutional codes which are concordant and partially concordant with CPFSK signals are investigated.
