On the necessary conditions for the BIBO stability of N- D filters

In this letter, it is shown that aGwith a relatively prime numerator and denominator has no poles in\overline{U}^nimplies that it has no second kind singularities inTU^{n-1}. An alternate necessary condition in terms of discrete principal Hurwitz polynomials is also stated.
