XINIX time-sharing operating system

The availability of the source code of a running real operating system is essential for teaching a practical course on Operating Systems. This, and the wide-spread use of PC-XT computers were the main reasons for transporting the XINU operating system to these computers. This paper describes the features, additions and constraints of this transportation, named XINIX.
