CAPSC: A context-aware payment system for supply-chains
Maryam Bayat, Mehdi Shajari · 2008
To overcome problems associated with the existing paper-based payment procedure of supply chains, a new payment method is proposed and its software architecture is developed. The proposed payment method is based on ubiquitous payment concepts, and employs the Garland and Anthony's approach in specifying software architecture. Due to the fresh nature of the proposed CAPSC system with no previous experience for its development, the bottom-up software development approach has been chosen. The software seems to be able to solve the existing constraints in supply chains' paper-based payment system between different parties of a supply chain and hence improve the performance of the whole chain. Workability of the designed system has been evaluated by implementing a simulation prototype of the system.
