How does a squeezed state of a general driven time-dependent oscillator evolve?

Chi‐Fai Lo · Physica Scripta · 1990

In this paper we examine the time evolution of a squeezed state of the general driven time-dependent oscillator. Our analysis indicate that the wave function of the time-dependent oscillator starts as a squeezed state at t = 0 and remains as a squeezed state at a later time, and that the time evolution is just a "squeezing" process. So the general driven time-dependent oscillator preserves squeezed states for all time.
