Solving recurring student problems with recurrences

We describe a prototype of RRTS (Recurrence Relation Tutorial System), a tool for students to use to practice solving homogeneous and non-homogeneous recurrence relations, both linear and divide-and-conquer, that arise in algorithm analysis.
