Introductory Computing for Mature Students

A problem‐solving approach to the introduction of computing to mature students is outlined. This involves the application of packaged programs to realistic problems. The ASB package, which was devised for this purpose, is described. Examples of problems suitable for this approach are given in an Appendix.
