The Use of Ella in Teaching and Research

The ELLA hardware description language and simulator are used at Queen Mary College in a final-year course where students simulate the specification of a design to verify the correctness of the specification and the definitions of the design partitions. Research use is in evaluating alternative parallel architectures for signal processing.
