Britain's IT professionals must focus on “up-skilling” and retraining if they are to survive the off-shoring tide. So says the British Computer Society (BCS). It goes on to point out that in the UK we currently have a skills shortage in growing areas such as systems integration, project management and, the one that is of particular interest to me, security technologies.
