Formal and computational linguistics

The Computational Linguistics Project at the University of Michigan is concerned with formal linguistic models and with the representation of information in logic and in natural language. The project is headed by Joyce Friedman; important contributions have been made by graduate research assistants, notably by David S. Warren (now at SUNY Stony Brook) and Douglas B. Moran (Oregon State University).
