A simple circuit for use with condenser strain gauges
D.M. Maurice · Journal of Scientific Instruments · 1954
A one-valve circuit operating at 200 Mc/s is described which gives a stable output proportional to the strain and sufficient to drive directly a low impedance recording milliammeter. It may be used in association with a wide range of recording capacities down to 3 pF. The connecting cable to the recording condenser acts as a transmission line and may be long without affecting seriously the working of the circuit.
