SOME ERROR ESTIMATES FOR WAVELET EXPANSION

We give some error estimate for the approximation of a function by its wavelet expansion. Moreover we consider the numerical procedure introduced in Ref. 9 in order to compute the expansion of a function f with respect to a compactly supported wavelet basis, for which we give an error estimate in the Ws,p norm.
