Dr. Hohmann and Dr. Swift have actually answered the main thrust of their query by stating that our exact coupling removal technique is proprietary. However, the intent of this paper was not to show how we perform decoupling, but rather to provide examples or various types of coupling and coupling‐corrected data. Any apparent obfuscation is unfortunate and unintentional, and we will try to answer some of the responders’ objections by presenting a general outline of ZERO’s decoupling technique without becoming involved in the proprietary aspects.
