Patrick J. Hayes · ACM SIGART Bulletin · 1974
The Computing Centre at Essex university is a fairly large academic department (28 teaching staff) and a computing service centre for the Whole University. Many research interests are represented, including numerical analysis, system design, communications, operating systems, compilers and computational linguistics. We nave a PDP10, an ICL 1900, a PDP15 and about a dozen smaller machines.
