Analog implementation of morlet wavelet using switched current circuits
Hu Qinchun · 2013
The design and implementation of Morlet wavelet transform in time-domain, using switched current (SI) circuits, is presented. Low-voltage and low-power are the main characteristics of SI circuits which are propitious for realizing high speed chip of wavelet transform. Gaussian function generators play a key role in analog hardware implementation of Morlet wavelet transform. The rational form of Gaussian function can be given by Pade approximation so that Gaussian function generator is able to be conveniently implemented by the cascade of SI first order section and second order section. Simulation results show that the method presented in this paper is feasible.
