THE DEVICE* to be described - an 8-bit microprocessor - offers full integration of a microprocessor system on a single chip. It has a repertoire of 95 instructions with a basic instruction cycle of 2.5μs. It is fabricated using a N-channel, depletion mode, double poly process, allowing use of a single +5-V power supply. A 40-pin device, it has 27 input-output pins for maximum interface flexibility
