An information gathering solution for wireless sensor network using open source tools
Ricardo González, Miguel Landaeta · 2008
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are a new paradigm that has been growing very fast nowadays. A WSN is composed of a certain number of sensor nodes or motes, which are set up in a terrain of interest. Each mote has the capacity of collecting data from physical world, such as: temperature, pressure, humidity, etc., which are then sent to a node called Gateway that connects a WSN to a wider area network.
