Urban Transport Database Design in China

Urban transport database (UTD) is one of the most important bases for academic research and management in transport sector. In this paper, comparison analysis between international and domestic urban transport database was implemented. Based on the Chinese practices, the objectives, framework and key technologies of the Urban Transport Database were presented. The upload and download mechanism of the urban transport data was presented as well. It will provide an efficient technical support for UTD construction in China.
