SOME THEOREMS IN THE THEORY OF THERMOVISCOELASTICITY

The paper is concerned with the linear theory of thermoviscoelasticity established by M. E. Gurtin. Some theorems concerning the reciprocity relation, the variational characterization of the solution, and uniqueness are presented. A continuous dependence result is also established
